DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. – DeKalb County police said they are looking for a hit and run driver who dragged a person down Buford Highway. DeKalb officer Mekka Parish said police received a 911 call of a possible body in the roadway. Officers were dispatched and they found a body at Buford Highway and Afton Lane. Police believe the vehicle struck the man at Buford and Dresden, dragging the body about a half mile to the Afton Lane location. Parrish said the car that that struck the victim did not stop. They are calling the incident a hit and run. Police are looking for a green vehicle with front end damage. The name of the victim has not been released.
