Blakely pedestrian hit by auto

The News has learned that a Blakely man was killed recently when he was struck by a vehicle on Highway 273 between Blakely and Cedar Springs. According to the GSP accident report, pedestrian Paul Allen Jr., 50, was struck by an east bound 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by Nancy Diane Williams of Colquitt around 12:40 a.m. on June 19.
