A 51-year-old man crossing Glenwood Road in DeKalb County was struck and killed by a motorist early Friday night. The deceased, Eric Darden, was wearing dark clothing and did not use a designated crosswalk, said DeKalb Police spokesman Jason Gagnon. No charges were filed against the driver, who waited at the scene until police arrived. The accident occurred around 7 p.m. in the 4600 block of Glenwood, not far from I-285.
